Zabbix is the latest graduate of the Charm Partner Programme, and we are excited to welcome their charms into the Juju Charms collection.

Zabbix is is an enterprise-class open source distributed monitoring solution designed to monitor and track performance and availability of network servers, devices, services and other IT resources. Zabbix allows administrators to recognize server and device problems within a short period of time and therefore reduces the system downtime and risk of system failure. Some of the world’s largest telecommunication, financial, retail and healthcare companies use Zabbix, including several listed in the Fortune 500. Its power and affordability also make it popular with government and academic organisations. Zabbix is also the main monitoring solution for OpenStack deployments, natively incorporating the best practices and metrics for core OpenStack components.

With Zabbix components available as Juju Charms, it is now possible to deploy a functional Zabbix environment in one command line or drag’n’drop. It gets even better when workloads you monitor become automatically recognized by Zabbix and associate to the right monitoring templates and actions. Last but not least, by adding a feedback loop into the Juju environment, you can easily set up autoscaling solutions by combining the best-in-class monitoring system with the world’s most used Cloud Orchestration Solution.

Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme is the fastest route to allow you to take advantage of all that Juju and the Ubuntu Cloud ecosystem have to offer.  With Juju charms, any customer can deploy, integrate and scale your products the same way your engineers would, anywhere they want to.  Charmed products run on OpenStack clouds, Amazon AWS, Windows Azure, Google Cloud, HP Cloud, IBM Softlayer, Brightbox, Joyent, CloudSigma and more.
